On April 26, Casey’s life changed in an instant. While riding home from a company BBQ, he was struck by a car making an illegal turn. His wife, Abby—just behind him—became his first responder, quickly calling 911 and ensuring Casey received immediate emergency care.
Casey, just 22, suffered a Grade 3 Diffuse Axonal Brain Injury, a severed artery, multiple fractures, spinal trauma, and injuries to nearly every major organ system. He was not expected to survive. Yet, by God’s grace, he is still with us.
Casey is now breathing with support and beginning to show signs of responsiveness—encouraging steps forward. Specialized rehabilitation offers him the best chance to heal, and he has the opportunity to be admitted to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta—renowned for its expertise in spinal cord and brain injury treatment.
While his insurance will cover a portion of his care, it falls far short. Each day at Shepherd Center is approximately $5,000, and the cost of his Angel Flight medical transport to Atlanta—$10,000—is not covered at all.
We’re raising funds to help cover:
- Specialized rehabilitation care at Shepherd Center
- Angel Flight medical transport to Atlanta
Casey and Abby have so much life ahead of them. They're young, full of love, and anchored in their faith in the Lord, which continues to give them strength in the midst of this unimaginable hardship. They trust in God’s healing and provision and remain hopeful for the road ahead.
Your donation—no matter the size—will help give Casey the best possible chance at healing, walking, and living the life they dreamed of together.
Please consider donating and sharing this page. Every prayer, every dollar, and every share matters.
We’re deeply grateful for your prayers and support. We’ll keep you updated as God’s healing work continues to unfold.
