Casey's Cancer Fight Fund
On April 8, 2021, our lives all changed forever. My dear cousin Casey is 46 years old and was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is an amazing person and has touched the lives of everyone who knows her. She is funny, charismatic, loving, kind-hearted, beautiful, unselfish and always puts her family and friends before herself. She is one of the strongest women we know. She has managed to raise four very incredible children as a single mother her whole life. She is the true definition of selfless.
So far Casey has had a bilateral mastectomy and the first stage of reconstruction surgery. Cancer was found in her Lymph Node so the next step will be Chemo, and then Radiation. Six months after radiation she will undergo a second surgery for additional reconstruction. She could need up to possibly 5 total surgeries.
Casey has been unable to work since this journey began. She will most likely not be able to return to work for quite some time. Unfortunately, she will probably not qualify for Social Security. Being a single mother with no second income to assist with daily life needs and bills will cause a severe financial burden for her and her family. We are so hopeful that we can eliminate some of the stress and burden of her financial worry; especially since she still has a child at home.
Casey is one of the sweetest, strongest, kindest, most unselfish people we have ever known. She is always there to give her love and support or the shirt off her back to anyone who needs it. Casey literally grows her hair long so she can donate it for those in need who do not have hair in fact she just donated 11 inches last week.
It is time we send back some of that love and support to Casey. She deserves it and needs our help. Anything you can donate will be truly and sincerely be appreciated. Please help in surrounding her with all the love and support possible. It is most needed at this time so she can focus on getting better and defeating this obstacle in life!
