*See most recent update* Many of you know Casey & some may not. Casey is my fiance who was diagnosed on June 25th 2020 with 2 aggressive and invasive tumors (ameloblastomas) on both sides of his face. Ameloblastoma tumors have to be treated quickly due to their aggressive nature. Unfortunately, the tumors have already caused extreme damage to his jaw bones and teeth. Casey is scheduled to have extensive surgery July 17th 2020. This extensive process begins with having to remove the 2 lesions as well as a majority of teeth. Next, biopsies will be taken from the removed tumors for further determination of precise treatment. Sadly, due to the damage that has been caused to the bone, Casey's jaw will be need to be reconstructed and he will need to receive multiple bone grafts. Finally, he will have dentures made to fit over the reconstruction. The initial procedure cost estimate is a staggering $25,000. That cost is also doesn't include if he ends up having to stay in the hospital, medications, living expenses, etc. Next on July 1st 2020 we went for our consultation regarding his teeth he will need. We thought he could just use regular but he is required to have a special kind of implanted denture that is costing an additional $35,000. We are devastated. I have still not been able to return to work since early March and Casey had just returned. This was a heartbreaking and sudden situation thrown our way but I have faith that between family and friends, we can pull off a miracle. Casey has a heart of gold and is the first person to help ANYONE in need. He has organized countless fundraising events for many people over the years without a second thought. This time it's him in need. I ask of anyone reading this to find it in your heart to give what you are able and willing. I understand everyone has had a rough time the last few months so, even if you are unable to give, keep us in your hearts and simply share this information. Sometimes we don't want to ask for help but, there are times when we must. Casey and I appreciate every single penny donated and have love and appreciation for everyone involved more than you know.
