Casey and Jodi Smith are incredible people. But if you are reading this, chances are you already know that. Both have been through trials, challenges and illnesses that most of us will hopefully never experience. As the parents of 6 incredible kids, they are the kind of parents any kid would want, and any adult tries to be.
On August 24th, Casey passed away after a 14 month fight with an in-operable glioblastoma (brain tumor).
As a legacy for his children, an account will be opened in the coming days at a local bank for the purpose of providing funds for the Smith children. These funds will be used to pay for education, sports, and/or missions. All donations made here on GoFundMe will be transferred to that legacy account upon completion of this campaign.
We encourage all who ask the question, "I would love to help, but am not sure what to do," to donate generously.
FINE PRINT: GOFUNDME has sent me a notification indicating that I must address who I am, my relation to the beneficiary and other details. So....I'm Mason Niederhauser, long-time friend to Casey & Jodi Smith. These funds will be transferred to my personal bank account. I will then transfer 100% of them to Casey & Jodi's trust account at America First Credit Union. I have spoken with Jodi about the logistics and we are all on the same page.
