If you know Casey Wolf, you love her. And if you don’t know her… well, you’re seriously missing out. She’s one of those rare unicorns who would drop everything to help you—even if you were just trying to move a couch or needed someone to talk to at 2 a.m. She’s got a heart of gold, a sense of humor that could get you through anything, and apparently… a blood clot in her brain. Yep. That escalated quickly.

On May 2nd, Casey started having the kind of headaches that would make a grown man cry, and after a few days of trying to power through (because she’s stubborn like that), she landed herself in the hospital. Diagnosis: Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis. In layman’s terms? A blood clot in the brain that definitely does not spark joy.

She’s been in the hospital for almost two weeks now, and let’s just say, the hospital cafeteria is no replacement for her kitchen—or her sense of freedom. Through it all, she’s still somehow the same hilarious, loving Casey—just with slightly more IVs and way less tolerance for bad hospital TV.

Here’s where you come in: Casey won’t be able to work for a while once she’s finally sprung from her hospital room. That means her wonderful partner Evandon, David, and of course sweet baby Henry could really use a little backup. We’re asking for donations of any size (seriously, even the price of your overpriced iced coffee helps!) to support this amazing woman and her family while she recovers.

Casey has spent her life giving to others—now it’s our turn to give a little back. Plus, we’d really love to get her back on her feet and away from hospital food before she starts rating Jell-O cups on Yelp.
