Hi, my name is Denise. My daughter's brother-in-law was tragically lost in a motorcycle accident yesterday 2/22/23. Casey was a 36-year-old father who leaves behind three children, two daughters and a son. Tayler 9, Chevy and Chevelle (twins) 6. I am starting a fundraiser to help take the burdens off of the family at this very difficult time. Unfortunately, all of the expenses of this tragedy are falling on his parents. Casey's parents are wonderful people who took on full-time care and custody of their 6-year-old twin grandchildren. Casey's father has recently retired; his mother was a stay-at-home mom and they are living on a fixed income. They were not prepared for the unexpected funeral costs and the family is finding themselves under a financial burden.
Anyone that knew Casey knew that he was a fun easy-going guy who loved his children, friends and family very much. He was happy, carefree, outgoing and made friends easily. He was generous and cared more for others than he cared for himself. If he ran into a stranger they wouldn't know that in recent years he has been fighting his own personal battles. He was the type of person that would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed help and the family is devastated that he was taken too soon.
At this time the family is just asking that in place of flowers, donations may be made to help with these unexpected costs in this traumatic time. Even the smallest donation will make a difference.
The family is overwhelmed by all the messages of love and support and would like to thank you all for your generosity, thoughts, and prayers and for helping their family during this difficult time.
