On Tuesday, August 30th, Casey was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident, resulting in him being Lifeflighted to Harborview in Seattle. He is considered to be in critical condition. It is an absolute miracle that he survived. Casey suffered five broken ribs, a broken collarbone, a broken scapula and extensive damage to his spine. Casey’s spinal injuries are extreme and life-changing, and it is anticipated he will require care for the rest of his life. He is currently paralyzed from the mid-chest down and his right arm. He cannot breathe independently and is suffering from blood clots in his lungs. The damage to his body is unimaginable, but the doctors are hopeful he will recover. As you can imagine, the list of services required for Casey’s rehabilitation will be costly, and he will not be able to work or provide for himself or for his 3 boys. Our family is asking, if anything, for prayers during this challenging time.
