To know Casey is to know love, kindness, strength, determination, passion, drive, and an amazing wife and Mother to two beautiful children.
In an unexpected scenario in February, 2020 a scan for another procedure revealed a nodule in her Thyroid. Casey's Primary Care Physician urged Casey to see a specialist after sharing her personal story of Thyroid cancer. This type of cancer tends to occur to people in their 20’s, and not in someone turning 40. An alarming result, as hard to determine how long this tumor has been on her Thyroid. Following a positive biopsy in October, it was a whirlwind, to schedule surgery as soon as possible, this is a task in itself in COVID times. Casey has a road of recovery ahead of her with pathology testing currently underway on her suspect lymph nodes.


The family has decided to go to Australia, in a COVID free safe living environment, to see specialists in her husband’s home city of Brisbane, Australia.  Every little bit counts in helping her and her family during this difficult time. This money will go towards helping Casey’s family pay for hospital bills, surgeries, travel costs, and quarantine costs.                                                                                                                                                                         Casey is one of the best people you will ever meet.
