Amanda Caseiro, 22, was a beautiful, bright, smart young lady with her whole life ahead of her. Originally from New Jersey, she was currently living in Utah where she was a student at USU. Amanda was very active and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the outdoors.
On Tuesday, June 21, Amanda decided to go for a hike after work, which was a normal thing for her; not thinking that she wouldn't be returning home. She had told her boyfriend where she was going but when she didn't return home at dark he became worried and contacted the police. After 2 days of searching, police and search crews discovered Amanda's body at the bottom of a 100-foot cliff near Cecret Lake. Amanda, who was alone when she fell, appears to have slipped.
