Cascade Locks Outdoor Recreation Program

Tax deductible
Envirovillage, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is raising money to start an outdoor recreation program for youth and families in Cascade Locks. Cascade Locks does not have a Parks and Recreation program, a community center or other community resources that provide formal recreation opportunities for children or adults. Envirovillage has been providing youth with summer camps, art workshops and boating activities for the past few years and plans to offer adult activities this summer.

Our organization has recently been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Oregon Investment Board to purchase kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and other equipment to start an outdoor recreation program in Cascade Locks. Equipment will be used for community events, lessons and camps. It will also be rented to create a sustainable source of revenue for a recreation program in Cascade Locks. A requirement of the grant is that Envirovillage must secure $10,000 in matching funds. Our goal is to have the matching funds raised by Friday, June 25th, but we will continue to raise funds until we achieve our fundraising goal.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to the community of Cascade Locks!
