Casa Delicias Relief
Don protégé

By Gods grace, no one was hurt or inside the premises during the incident. The fire Marshal announced Casa Delicious as a total loss.
Our hearts are completely shattered! Watching the flames take over 40 years of service to the community. The place Our grandparents, Florentino and Cecilia Sanchez started, the place We grew up in, Our parents whole world… gone in a blink of an eye. it still does not feel real.
Casa Delicious will always be remembered for not only their delicious food but their kind hearts and passion to serve. Our parents made it a point to always get to know their customers. Especially their regulars. They knew customers by name and their orders before ordering. They knew about their families and home life by taking a minute to talk to each and every one.
It wasn’t just a Mexican food joint. It was a place of comfort. A welcoming spot for someone that needed someone to talk to even if it was brief. It was the best spot in town for the best tortillas, tamales , green chili and masa! Let’s not forget the best Taco Tuesday! The list goes on! If you’re from the High desert, you knew this was “The Spot!”
Casa Delicias was the provider for our family. It provided a roof over our families head and food in our stomachs.
Casa Delicias is where My siblings, Christian, Adrian and I grew up in. It’s how we learned how to be the adults we are now.
It’s also where we learned how to make salsa… not by choice but that was punishment when we acted up. We would work there to earn something we wanted. It taught us the value of a dollar and how hard you have to work to get it.
The memories at Casa Delicias will forever be In Our hearts. It will be missed immensely. A piece of our history was taken from us but not forgotten.
The hardship we are about to face will not be an easy route but we will push through!
Although we are not certain what the future holds for Casa Delicias and our Parents, Margarita and Adrian Olvera. We are certain that God will provide! His plan will be laid out for us and for everyone touched by our parents.
To the staff that made the wheels turn, we thank you for coming in every day and giving your all! We could never have made it without you all! We love and cherish each and every one of you!
Our parents never ask for help which is why we’re reaching out to ease their painful journey for what’s to come.
God bless you all and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love and support.
