Casa del Niño Montessori School CR
Donation protected
Friends, family, and beautiful souls of this world, I’m reaching out in hopes to raise money for our newly established nonprofit Montessori school in Uvita, Costa Rica.
An incredible friend of mine, Courtney Fletcher, and I opened a Montessori school, Casa del Niño, to provide authentic education to young children. There is no doubt teaching is a lifelong passion of ours [as well as being great moms!] and we both share the common goal of providing students in this Costa Ballena region with exceptional education.
Thanks to the extremely generous donations from Francoise Leger, Key West Montessori and Montessori Tides, we were able to get our school up and going. Now we are now asking for your help covering these costs to provide a comfortable, safe learning environment that the children of our community deserve.
Insulation to cut down on heat in our school buildings ($1000)
Fans ($2,325)
Paint for the toddler classroom $360
Desks, chairs and tables $2,800
Refrigerator repair $150
Outdoor shaded structure to keep kids safe from the sun $400
Legal fees $975
Website and logo $600
Montessori materials for elementary classroom $7,000
Online professional development workshops: $540
GOAL: $16,150
One of our important initiatives is to offer scholarships for local families to afford Montessori education. If you are interested in partially or fully sponsoring a child, please contact us.
We are forever grateful for all the people who have already helped fund the school and thank you immensely in advance for all those who plan to donate!
For any locals here in Costa Rica who prefer to lend a hand/their time, we would be elated for you to reach out and see how you may be able to help!
Blessings and many thanks from the children, parents, and staff of Casa del Niño
