Help Our Family Get Back on the Road

Hi everyone,

Our family has recently fallen on hard times, and we’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits.

Back in March, just before we welcomed our baby boy James into the world, our family van broke down. We later learned it needs a brand-new motor to be driveable again. Since then, we've been relying on my husband’s SUV—originally meant for work and hauling—to get around, especially for our two eldest children who are both on the autism spectrum and attend daily therapy, Monday through Friday.

Unfortunately, today that SUV also broke down—right on the side of the highway—while I was on my way to my 6-week postpartum checkup. We were stranded in the heat with our babies for over an hour waiting for help. It was a scary and heartbreaking moment for us.

Now, we’re left with no working vehicle, and the cost to repair even one of them is far more than we can manage right now. This was completely unexpected and has left us devastated and honestly, a bit defeated. We’re doing our best to stay strong for our kids, but we need help.

Any contribution—big or small—would mean the world to our family and help us get the reliable transportation we desperately need to get our children to therapy, get to medical appointments, and simply get back to some kind of normal.
