Hello, my name is Amber, a resilient single mother of four incredible children: Ava (13), Della (10), Alana (6), and Alex (4). We've faced the most daunting year of our lives in 2025, but we're determined to rise above. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I owe their school money from last year, which is hindering them from receiving their final report card and attendance next year. I'm eager to share our story and the unwavering hope that defines us.

It all began in late January when I was rushed to the ER, experiencing a debilitating condition that left my body's nerve and muscle tissues inflamed and riddled with rashes for two weeks. Despite ongoing specialist testing, I remain optimistic, and with the support of my PCP, neurologist, and RA specialist, I'm confident we'll find answers.

March brought additional challenges as I fell behind on bills, and my car was repossessed. However, I chose to focus on the lessons learned and the opportunity to rebuild. After recovering my vehicle, I was met with over $6,000 in damages, but I remain steadfast in my resolve.

May brought a mix of trials and triumphs. Our dryer broke, and my children's father relocated out of state, leaving us with $25,000 in unpaid child support. Yet, I've channeled my energy into creating a brighter future for my family. Despite Consumers Energy losing my work order and rebate, I persevered. The unfortunately, I lost my job of 6.5 years due to advocating for fair compensation, but I've since discovered new opportunities and grown as a professional.

In June, my mother selflessly watched over the children, allowing me to catch up on bills and work diligently towards a better tomorrow. I missed 3 kids birthdays and my daughters baptism because Ive been working towards these goals for my family. With school on the horizon, I'm facing a financial shortfall, but I'm undeterred. I've been working tirelessly, and although child support, damages, and rebates have yet to materialize, I remain hopeful. One of my jobs has lost $800 due to insurance company delays, and poor record keeping, but I'm choosing to focus on the positive.

When our bathroom flooded and siding became infested with yellow jackets, I drew upon my inner strength and resilience. Even a hospitalization for a bulging and ruptured eardrum, conjunctivitis, and laryngitis couldn't diminish my spirit. I'm rising above, and I'm grateful for any contribution that can help me get my children back into school. Your support would be a beacon of hope, reminding us that even in the darkest moments, there is always a way forward. Let's work together to create a brighter future for my children.
