Caruthers family survives brutal attack fundraiser

Hello friends and family. My best friends Dean and Traci and their daughter Aubree were brutally attacked in their sleep by someone they knew.  All of them fought for their lives and by the grace of God they all survived. Dean nearly lost his life and his arm.  It was completely severed and by the time he arrived at the hospital he was rushed into emergency surgery where four different teams worked on him. A vascular team, trauma team, ICU team and an ortho team which lasted 10 hours.  The doctors did an amazing job and were able to save his arm but the damage was significant and his arm will never function normal again and will require many more surgeries. Traci & Aubree suffered several lacerations, cuts and bruises during the attack as well and the emotional trauma they all have endured will be life changing.

Their insurance still leaves them with substantial medical expenses and the upcoming surgeries and therapy will be continual. With the injuries Dean sustained he will no longer be able to return to work in the same capacity. I DO NOT want them to stress about their hospital bills when they should be focusing on healing together as a family. They are amazing people and they do not deserve this. I am asking from the bottom of my heart for help with any amount you can.
