Cartwright Family Appeal

The Cartwright Family moved to Kingscliff in northern NSW after they received the devastating news that their sons Dane & Matt had "Battens Disease"; a rare genetic disorder that robs them of their vision, motor skills, speech, intellectual abilities & the prognosis is that they will die in their early -mid twenties. The move to Kingscliff (much more affordable than Sydney), allowed the Cartwright's to build a purpose built home to accommodate the boys special needs & to also allow the parents Glenn & Karen to minimize work commitments so that they could spend quality time with their boys throughout the final phases of their lives. After consolidating in their new home & making several new close friends the family came across an individual by the name of Ken Grace. Ken it appeared, operated a successful investment business. After an initial trial period with a smaller invested amount the family business which they had built from scratch into a successful asset was sold for the sole purpose to invest with Ken Grace's Goldsky Investment company. Ken Grace willingly took their money despite being aware of the family's dire situation. All the while ASIC had been made aware by large institutions in the US & the SEC that there appeared to be several anomalies with Goldsky & its mastermind Ken Grace, & yet even though Goldsky conceded to ASIC in April 2018 that they were under investigation & that they would close the fund & return all monies to investors by the end of that month the Cartwright's were allowed to invest their entire life savings in July. To make matters worse there was an invested amount of borrowed funds totaling almost $500k. In total the Cartwright family have been robbed of just over $2.7 million dollars & are now finding it extremely difficult to make ends meet little alone enjoy quality time with Dane & Matt. The family which don't usually cry out for help are know at the point where they feel they 'have too'. The goal is in the first instance to pay out their debt. If more is achievable this could be the difference of their father working full time versus part time & more quality time with the boys.
