Hello everyone,

My name is James Helton, and I’m reaching out to share the incredible journey of my stepson, Carter.

Carter was diagnosed with alopecia universalis at a young age. Losing his hair took a heavy toll on his confidence and made him fear that his dreams would be out of reach — especially his dream of becoming a streamer and sharing his passion with the world.

But Carter refused to give up. He faced countless challenges, from bullying to self-doubt, yet he stayed true to his dream. Day after day, he practiced, streamed, and built a community that supports him for who he is — not what he looks like.

Carter has become a highly skilled Fortnite player, professionally ranked and competing in tournaments against some of the best players out there. Beyond competing, he dedicates his time to helping others get better at the game, sharing strategies and encouragement with kids and adults alike through his streams and tutorials.

After years of dedication, Carter has achieved something amazing: he has been partnered with a brand willing to sponsor his streams. This is a huge breakthrough for him, and it shows just how far his determination and courage have taken him.
