Hello my name is Dan Morrison, I am a veteran with my daughter living in Ontario. Her son, Carter, currently living in Ottawa has been rushed to the CHEO hospital due to having seizures and fluid in his brain. Not being able to afford to help with hotel costs as my daughter and bf are not currently working either.

So Carter started having seizures last night. We immediately called 911 as soon as we caught the first one. Paramedics arrived within five minutes.

He had an ongoing second seizure in the ambulance, we got to CHEO and they got him on medication to stop the seizures. There were about 20 doctors all surrounding him frantically as I was on the phone with my mom, Brody and Brody’s mom.

He had two CT scans, they showed that he had a brain bleed. They just did an MRI, and got him hooked up to an EGG for his brain activity after the MRI was done.

We’re finding out this brain bleed has probably not been spontaneous, and has been going on longer than we thought.

They are getting a team of specialists in to look for metabolic disorders, such as hydrocephalus (that for some odd reason, call it a mothers intuition, when he was a month old I looked into due to the shape, size and look of his head) and other disorders.
