There are sometimes in life you need to reach out to others and ask for help when you see a loved one in need. My name is Jenn Cady and on October 21, 2015, my nephew was admitted into the hospital at 2am and he almost left us. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes with sugars of 685 and barely breathing. From that moment forward the lives of my brother’s family and precious Carter would change forever. 

I have seen my brother and his family do whatever they can to make this transition for my 10 year old nephew Carter easy. I have seen the medical bills personally and I have witnessed the pressure this can put on any family. Carter’s medical expenses to manage his diabetes cost over $800 each month and this does not include the burden of the initial long stay at the hospital and the new insulin pump that Carter has just received. 

As someone who loves her family, I want to reach out to my personal friends and ask you to help me give them a wonderful and much needed Christmas gift this year. I would love to give Carter, my brother and sister-in-law the gift of being able to pay for his medical expenses for 1/2 of the year.
