CARTER STRONG CANCER SHALL BE GONE

Hello everyone, my name is Khalil Carter, I am asking for any and all help possible. My sister Khalilah Carter was recently diagnosed with a stage 3 breast cancer and has been battling this on her own while caring for her three young children. She is no longer working while fighting to overcome this struggle so any and every little thing would be a great help.
A message from Khalilah: “I fought and fought with myself whether or not I should come out and tell my story… but here it is. Ok so about 6 months ago, I felt a lump in my breast and went to the emergency room to get checked. The doctors told me that it was nothing to worry about and that it was just a lump that appears every month during ovulation, so I believed them and thought nothing of it…
As the days and months went on, I noticed the lump was growing in size, so I contacted my personal OB/GYN who scheduled me for a mammogram. The results showed that I had a mass in my breast. I was then scheduled for a biopsy to determine if the mass was cancerous or not, and this point I became extremely nervous and concerned. About a week passed and I received a call from my doctor’s office telling me to come in for the results. My worst fears were realized when the doctor told me the mass was in fact was cancer and the news shook me and all I could do was breakdown and cry.
The doctor then explained to me that my cancer had progressed to stage 3, and I just couldn’t believe it! I thought to myself that there’s no way this can be me! I’m too young for this! So now… here I am… battling breast cancer, the chemo is kicking my a**, I have to get a double mastectomy at 40 years young, and I never thought this could ever happen to me.
The moral of the story is, ladies, please don’t wait to get checked. I don’t care if you feel a tiny dot, it’s time to get checked. Too many of us young females are living and dying from cancer. This is just my story. #FUCKCANCER this is my 40 Shades of Pink! I will defeat this, I’m not asking for sympathy, only prayers.”
So, friends, family, strangers, if you can find it in your heart to help my sister out during these trying times, we would all be greatly appreciative.
