The gofundme page titled, Carter House Fire -total loss- Boone NC, was created by Arwen, Jason, and Elicia, children of Jay Carter, who on Dec. 11 lost his home (our family home) and everything in it to a fire.
He is currently figuring out what steps need to be taken to rebuild. The home was being remodeled and Jay was living in a camper during construction. Unfortunately, the camper was also destroyed during the fire. There was no insurance on the house, construction materials, or camper, so any help is greatly needed and appreciated. There is much to do and we are asking our friends and family to help if they can.
