Carson's Journey: Overcoming a Brain Bleed

I've created this gofundme for my best friend, Jessica and her family.

On Sunday, December 1st, her son Carson was sledding with his siblings and hit his head while doing so and not thinking anything of it, he just kept playing. On Monday, December 2nd, at school he had complaints of a headache and was not feeling well. Fast forward to Monday early afternoon where he was seen at the school based health center and was told he had a minor concussion. Later in the evening Jess took him to the ER to have him checked again. While there, they performed a CT scan and found a brain bleed. From there he was rushed to Albany med via ambulance where he had to have emergency surgery to remove the blood and find where the bleed was coming from. He came out of surgery and the doctors said they we're hopeful and optimistic. Tuesday, December 3rd, he was slowly waking and responding. He made slight progress with opening eyes and speaking few words. Tonight, he started to run a fever and isnt responding to demands. He will be watched closely in the Pediatric ICU and may need another CT scan and depending on those results, the possibility of the OR.

Jess will be experiencing significant medical costs, travel expenses, lost wages, and drastic changes to everyday life with her other children.
