On Saturday, September 12, 2015 Carson was struck by a car while crossing A1A in St. Augustine, Florida with his cousin and a friend. Carson is 11 years old. Carson was transported to Flagler Hospital and then to UF Health Jacksonville. The next day he was moved to Wolfson Children's Hospital. He is in a medically induced coma.
He suffered facial and skull fractures, a broken femur and pelvis, a brain bleed and swelling on the brain. Carson is undergoing surgery on his femur this afternoon (September 15, 2015). Carson's body is slowly healing and he is expected to make it, but the cost of medical expenses are astronomical especially with a catastrophic trauma, surgeries, rehabilitation, and long-term recovery and care. Any contributions you can make are greatly appreciated to help this incredible family! No amount is too small! This could be any of our children, Please Help!
