Carson Herrin was an energetic, athletic, fun loving young man. He loved football, basketball, playing video games, his cat,  and spending time with family and friends. On July 31, 2014 Carson was riding his four wheeler from his grandparents house to his house to get ready for football practice when he was thrown from his atv and tragically killed. He was 13 years old. He was buried in his #44 football uniform with his teammates and coach serving as paul bearers. In leiu of flowers, his parents asked that donations be made to his schools sports program because of his love for these sports. A memorial fund was set up at his school in Carson's memory. It was decided that the athletic program would use any funds towards building a basic needs pre-fab metal building to serve as a field house for the football players and their equipment. It will be named the Carson Herrin Memorial field house. The team currently uses basketball locker rooms that were built in the 1960's. Our goal is to make something positive come out of this tragedy. Thank you for reading and considering this cause.
