This is the story of a little girl named Carson Avery Felts; and once you hear it, you'll fall in love with her. See, Carson is one of the tiniest fighters you'll possibly ever hear about. The odds are stacked against her because of a rare condition which caused her heart and liver to develop on the outside of her body. It's called Pentalogy of Cantrell. She was born at 10:24am in Memphis ,TN at Regional One Health Hospital. She was delivered by C-section, she weighed 5lbs 6oz and was doing great. Her heart was strong and she was breathing on her own which made it relatively easy to stabilize very soon after so she could be moved. She was transferred to Le Bonhuer Hospital across rhe street. Dee Dee Felts, Carson's mom , had placenta accreta and had to have a full hysterectomy and bladder surgery to correct issues with the birth. Dee-Dee hasn't even seen her baby yet, we are hoping to get her out for some air to go see Baby Carson here within the hour. This little girl is a fighter and she is strong. Any prayers and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone for any and all help given to our family. We want to give Carson Avery every opportunity she deserves. With Love, Carson Avery's Army
