WOW - WE DID IT! (Yes, I am celebrating and yelling! - ;)
YOU and your contributions have helped me reach my fundraising goal!!! I could not have done it without you. I am so humbled by your support and I look to pay it forward to my fellow Life Scouts developing Eagle Projects to serve our local community...facilitating greater unity and connections at a time when we need both. In the next two weeks, pavers will be put in place to accommodate three benches, all five benches will be assembled and then placed in Bannockburn Church's main courtyard. Upon completion, pictures of the project will be posted here to share "our success" - yours and mine!
As my Eagle Scout project, I am raising money in order to help beautify the courtyard at the church I grew up in. I will be putting together industrial-grade benches, as well as three concrete pads, and I am humbly requesting funds to support this endeavor. If you donate an entire bench ($1,560), you will be able to dedicate the bench to a person, group, or family of your choice, which will honor them and last for generations to come. A bronze plaque will be added to the bench donated, engraved with the name of the person or group of your choice. By meeting this goal, I will be able to help my church, and I will be one step closer to becoming the first Eagle Scout in Troop 19’s history and the first female Eagle Scout ever in the Thunderbird District.
