Carson Jordan get to MD Anderson in Texas

Hi, my family and I are starting this gofundme for my uncle, Carson Jordan. He was diagnosed with cancer in his esophagus in January of 2021. He has since had that tumor removed, but sadly the cancer had spread to his liver which they found when doing the surgery on his esophagus. He then had 60% of his liver removed to remove all of the tumors, and it regenerated to normal size after 6 weeks with only a small spot of cancer that was left. The doctors then did an ablation of the spot and then found a lymphnode in his chest that was also cancerous. In a separate surgery, they removed 99% of the lymphnode. The remaining 1% was attached to the aorta wall so it could not be removed. His current course of action was a 6 month round of chemo every 2 weeks. Since then, repeat scans have found cancer all over his liver once again, and now multiple spots in his abdominal cavity. He is currently too weak to take the chemo and is in the hospital for an infection in Conway, SC. His doctor there has advised for him to go home, pack a bag, and travel to MD Anderson in Texas for definitive cancer care and the best course of treatment for him at this time. Carson is 45 and has two daughters, ages 16 and 12. He also hopes to one day marry his fiancé, Amanda McDonald. Carson recently had to medically retire from his job at Santee Cooper after 20 years because he was no longer able to work, although he has been out of work for the past year already. All the funds will be sent directly to he and Amanda for travel expenses and additional medical bills. We appreciate anything that you are able to give and all prayers at this time.
