Carrying the Torch- the Duane Turchin Fund
Donation protected
Duane Turchin, known as the Honda-Man, tragically lost his life on May 8, 2020.
He was a devoted son to his mother. A loyal brother to Jan, Jennifer, Tony & Tim. A loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. A supportive friend and caring neighbor, who could fix anything. Duane was compassionate, reliable and genuine to all who knew him.
Duane was a good neighbor who continuously watched out for everyone – especially the children. Everyone will miss his neighborhood cookouts and his annual 4th of July grilling feast and fireworks show.
He was known for his skills as a mechanic and for his tremendous work ethic, such that when knowledgeable technicians couldn’t figure a problem out they’d say “send it to Duane”. A guy who more often than not turned working relationships into long-lasting friendships.
We have started this go fund me to help the family with funeral expenses and additional unexpected costs. Duane was a good neighbor who always tried his hardest to take care of everyone around him. This is our opportunity to take care of him. Duane’s big contagious smile and hearty laugh will be greatly missed.
