Hi everyone,

I’ve been given the opportunity to travel to Kamloops to attend a writing and knowledge-sharing gathering for Indigenous storytellers and future educators. This means so much to me, because writing is how I heal, learn, and use my voice for my community.

Coming from Northern Manitoba, opportunities like this don’t come often, and travel costs are high! While accommodations are covered, I’m fundraising for flights, meals, and transportation.

This experience will help me grow as a writer and as a future teacher, so I can bring everything I learn back home and into my classroom one day.
