Carrying On After Loss: A Widow’s Financial Appeal
Donation protected
With a heavy heart, I come to you today to share my story, one that I never thought I would be telling. After nearly 40 years of marriage, I have just lost my beloved husband to a long, hard battle with cancer. He was not just my partner—he was my soulmate, my provider, my everything. He was not only special to me, but to all who were lucky enough to have met him.
His passing has left a void that words can’t describe, but in addition to the emotional pain, I now face a daunting financial burden.
For the past year and a half, my husband was unable to work due to his illness, and as a result, our family income dwindled. In addition to the emotional toll of caregiving, I juggled my full-time job while caring for him and managing countless doctor appointments, hospital visits, and treatments. While insurance covered some costs, many of the medical expenses and treatments were not fully covered, leaving us with mounting bills that I now find myself responsible for.
I have always been the type of person who prefers to give rather than ask, but today I find myself in a situation where I need help. The medical bills and other accumulated debt are overwhelming, and I am struggling to keep up. As I try to rebuild my life, I am reaching out for support, not just to alleviate this financial burden, but to give me the strength and peace of mind to move forward. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated and will go directly toward paying off the debts that have become my responsibility.

Thank you for your kindness, your support, and your understanding during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity means the world to me, and it will help me honor my husband’s memory as I try to navigate the road ahead.
