As many of you know, Pam passed away unexpectedly on Thursday. Pam's friend Sara put it best when she said Pam was a part of her "mom tribe." Pam was a part of our tribe, and we are a part of hers. As a "tribe" so many people have reached out and asked what they can do to help. In the coming weeks, there will be many expenses for the family, some expected and some not expected. This GoFundMe has been created to collect funds for the family to use as they best see fit. Thank you to those who have already come together to cover the rent for the next few months.
Pam helped so many. Whether it was her famous meatloaf or French toast casserole, if you were ill, Pam was there with a meal. If you were a client, she might bring a quiche just because. She worked hard for her family and had so many talents. She was the queen of domestication and many in her tribe relied on her for her tips and tricks in cooking, baking, pet care, and more. She never took a shortcut. She knew the best way to do things and that is what she did with everything. There was no telling her another way. Her knowledge was endless. If you wanted random information Pam knew it, and she had a Jell-O drawer that would blow your mind.
Pam had a laugh that was infectious. You always knew when Pam was in a room because of her energy and that laugh, which reached every corner. Nothing made Pam happier or her shine brighter than her love for her children. In the coming months, Paxton and Rheid will have a lot of things to go through. Pam held on to everything. When I helped her move, I remember her showing me Paxton's first diaper, Rheid’s first tooth, and so much more. She cherished every memory of her babies, and now it is our time to cherish the memories she left us. Please remember Paxton, Rheid, and the rest of Pam’s family in your prayers and hearts as they go through this very difficult time.
