In honour of Cameron, and in support of everyone who struggles silently with their mental health, myself and my friend Kim are taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Cameron Williams Foundation and men’s mental health charity Suicide prevention UK. They are dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

The Cameron Williams Foundation exists to save lives, raise awareness, and break the silence surrounding suicide. Their work helps ensure that people facing their darkest moments know they are not alone, that their lives matter, and that help is always available.

Climbing Kilimanjaro is more than a physical challenge — it is a powerful symbol of the mental battles so many people face. The journey will be exhausting, unpredictable, and mentally demanding, much like living with mental illness. Every step forward represents resilience, hope, and the importance of support when the climb feels overwhelming.
