In Loving Memory of Yusuf Hakan

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon

“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved husband, Yusuf Hakan, who bravely fought cancer for over a year. Despite his immense strength, patience, and unwavering faith throughout his illness, Allah (SWT) called him back on the 17th of March 2025.

Yusuf faced his trial with dignity and resilience, always remembering Allah and maintaining his beautiful character. In these difficult times, I find comfort in knowing that his struggle in this world, inshaAllah, will be replaced with peace and light in the hereafter.

As his wife, I want to honor his legacy and help him continue to earn reward in the Barzakh through your generous donations. This fundraiser is a means of setting up ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) on Yusuf’s behalf, allowing him to benefit from every good deed that comes from it.

With the support of friends, family, and all those whose lives he touched, I aim to donate to multiple causes that were close to his heart and dear to our faith. These include:

Supporting orphanages

Contributing to the building or maintenance of Masajid

Providing wheelchairs in Makkah for pilgrims in need

Distributing Qur’ans in Madinah

Building water wells or pumps to provide clean water in underprivileged communities

And other impactful, long-lasting charitable efforts

Each of these actions will serve as a continuous source of reward for Yusuf in the hereafter, inshaAllah.

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who stood by Yusuf and supported us, especially during the final weeks of his life. Your prayers, love, and presence meant the world to us. May Allah reward you all in abundance and shower His mercy upon you.

Yusuf Hakan’ın Aziz Hatırasına

İnnâ lillâhi ve innâ ileyhi râciûn

“Şüphesiz biz Allah’a aidiz ve sonunda O’na döneceğiz.”

Sevgili eşim Yusuf Hakan’ın vefatını büyük bir hüzünle paylaşıyorum. Yusuf, bir yılı aşkın süredir kanserle cesurca mücadele etti. Bu zorlu süreçte sabrı, metaneti ve sarsılmaz imanı ile örnek oldu. Ancak ne yazık ki, Rabbimiz onu 17 Mart 2025 tarihinde katına aldı.

Yusuf, hastalığı boyunca gösterdiği dirayetle ve Allah’a olan bağlılığıyla hepimize örnek oldu. Bu dünya imtihanının ardından, inşallah ahirette huzur ve nurla karşılanacağını ümit ediyorum.

Eşi olarak, onun hatırasını yaşatmak ve kabir hayatında (Berzah) ona sevap kazandıracak hayırlı işler yapılmasını sağlamak istiyorum. Bu bağış kampanyası, Yusuf adına sadaka-i cariye (sürekli sevap kazandıran sadaka) niteliğinde hayır işleri yapmak amacıyla başlatılmıştır.

Ailemiz, dostlarımız ve Yusuf’un hayatına dokunan herkesin desteğiyle, aşağıda belirtilen güzel ve kalıcı projelere katkı sağlamak istiyorum:
