WHY THIS STORY?
After a curse is placed upon Conrad, he suspects he might be turning into a carrot. He has to race against time and find the person responsible for the curse before it's too late.
Carrots for Conrad is an absurdist horror-satire about the American dream gone awry. "I wanted to hone in on the wave of selfishness and disconnectedness I was seeing across our nation," says our writer/director Jared Kunish. "People are so concerned with getting ahead in their own lives that they often look down upon and even hurt the little guys with their words or actions. I wanted to explore what the consequences might be for someone who acts like this in a weird, funny, and frightening way and have them fight for their life to get out of the situation that they inadvertently created themselves."
