Hi. If you know me, you know how hard it is for me to ask for this kind of help. But I am - and any amount will be helpful.

This photo was taken in May of 2023. My dad came to visit us and we had a blast! He and I spoke every day. Mostly about the weather, horses or his family. He liked to be in the loop. We frequently talked about his children (my siblings), grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was incredibly proud of his family.

On June 24th I got a call saying his heart stopped beating. He was resuscitated, but non-responsive. Long story short, he was brain dead and never recovered. He officially died 5 days later on June 29, 2023.

Our dream is to gather with our family in New Orleans for a celebration of life. It will be the first time my siblings and their children and children's children will be together EVER. Many have never met my dad's siblings and their families.
