Carrie’s Top Surgery Fund

You may know this face. This is Carrie Keel. Carrie and their wife have singlehandedly changed the queer scene in Indy through the creation of Low alone Queer Dance Party, Buzz Cut music festival and Minor Sweat, the programming event catered to the youth in our community. 

Carrie has spent countless hours, dollars, and love making sure that there are spaces for all in the city.It’s time that we give that back.....

Carrie is actualizing a goal that is not only affirming but life changing. In December, Carrie will have top surgery with Dr. Gallagher here in the city that they have poured their life into. This comes at a huge financial price that Carrie and their family cannot incur independently. Insurance can be tricky and not always trans affirming, and the cost for this care to be paid prior to surgery. As a city we spend community with this person, who isn’t more deserving of our dollars and wishes.
