...but she isn't letting it steal her smile. Carrie got disappointing news recently: Initially, her treatments were going to last until early summer. Unfortunately, her gastric cancer was worse than the doctors first predicted and she will require another 6 rounds of much stronger chemotherapy. These treatments are projected to last until December 2021.

Carrie has been a caregiver for so many of our families. Her life's work has been to put those with special needs first. Carrie needs our help at this time. She has medical needs and other household expenses that will continue to accrue while she is enduring continued lifesaving treatment. Treatment is physically, emotionally and financially exhausting. As her savings dwindle, our aim is to help support Carrie financially so that she can focus on defeating cancer.
