Hello my name is Carrie As of January 2025 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pelvic cancer and on April 15th 2025 I started my long journey in treatment with Chemo and after they did a CT scan to check the progress everything was reacting great with the treatment up until Thursday October 2nd 2025 I went to West Marion due to a really big lump on the back of my head so they did another CT scan on my head and the end results came back that it is in fact a bone growth on my scull (Even though the Dr there reassures me my brain looks really good) he’s never seen this kind of growth before but bad news is that it is usually caused by a cancerous tumor so I have an appointment this Thursday with my oncologist to set up another PET scan to find out if it is in fact cancer or not! And with me being sick I am unable to work so that leaves everything on my husband to be the soul provider for our 9yo son and myself,I did finally get accepted for Medicaid but with all the treatment, testing,and visits I’ve just about exhausted what little part the insurance did pay which was maybe a quarter of my medical bills and now with this recent and new discovery I’m going to be paying almost 99% out of pocket and the Copay with the medical was still just under $3,000 and so obviously I am unable to pay all that when services render I still have to pay them something towards the copay and they want a couple hundred since the entire copay is so much, so I am asking for help from anyone if you aren’t able to donate a simple share would help me get my story out there and possibly others who are willing and able to donate so please if you could keep me and my family in your prayers and help share my go fund me page we would greatly appreciate it in every way!!
