On July 6th, 2016, Carrie lost her entire home to a devastating fire when a construction site caught on fire, and spread to her nearby townhouse. The structure is destroyed, and all of her posessions are gone - everything from clothes to her writing. We are raising funds to help her rebuild as quickly as possible, and provide some stability/normalcy to her life.
Carrie is a wonderful friend, and a sunny, positive force in the world. We would love to reflect that back to her, and give her all the support we can during this time. Few people can imagine waking up one day and having all their material posessions gone and what that would mean. Hopefully, we can make this process a little bit easier, and remove at least a little worry for her. Any help you can provide is sincerely appreciated. We will update this page with updates as they become available.
(The "we" is two of Carrie's college gymnastics teammates - we will maintain this page as long as it is helpful, or turn over to Carrie if/when it's something she wants to take on. For now, we are doing whatever we can to help!)
