Just a few days ago our friend Carrie Wendt was forced to flee from her home in Paradise CA with just enough time to escape with her partner and three dogs. On November 8th the Camp Fire devastated the town of Paradise California including Carrie's house that she had purchased in August of this year. Carrie's needs our support right now in this time of displacement and uncertainty.  She is posting regular updates to this campaign as she finds out the extent of her losses and how much will be covered by insurance. I have increased the funding goal of this campaign as a result of the news that Carrie has gotten so far. If it turns out that the insurance covers more than expected, extra funds will go to help others affected by this fire. 

If you don't know Carrie, she is an incredibly generous human who dedicates her life to helping her community of people and wild creatures. Please donate whatever you can to help her buy necessary items like food, clothes, and other essentials. Everything helps.
