Hey my name is Mikayla, I’m fundraising for my cousin Carrie Borchert-Meyer during these tough times in my family. Carrie has always been a role model in my life and this is the least I can do to give back to her. My family is very humble and caring and does not like asking for help so I am doing my part. She recently was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor and has undergone surgery. The surgery did not go as planned to say the very least…This was suppose to be a quick recovery surgery but is now looking at extended care… Kasey ( husband ) has had to take off of work to drive to Milwaukee from Appleton Wisconsin to be with his wife. Carrie has good days and bad days and we are not sure if this is going to be a long term situation or not. We’re trying to remain positive but worrying about money to try to live day to day can add a lot of stress. All while dealing with life at home with a highschooler and 2 puppers. We’re trying to raise money for medical bills, mortgage payments, utilities and traveling to appointments. Any kind of donation means the world to us, thank you for looking at our page!
