Many of you know my sister, Carrie Lewis

Bodin and her family. Carrie has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor and will

be having surgery at the end of July to have it removed. Due to cognitive and memory

deficits that have been progressing as the

tumor has grown, she has been unable to work in her chosen profession as a physical therapist for quite some time now. Mark has

been supporting her and the boys, Dylan and Max, single-handedly. But he does not get paid time off to be present for Carrie’s surgery/medical visits/aftercare, or for the frequent travel to Johns Hopkins from southern Delaware. Their savings is quickly being depleted and Carrie will not be able to return to work any time soon. I want Carrie and her family to focus on getting the tumor out safely and in her recovery, without the added stress of monetary demands. That is why I have

decided to start this Gofundme for her.

The funds will go to pay medical bills and

shortfalls in living expenses for the extended time off of work for both her and Mark that her surgery and recovery will require.

Many of you know that Carrie would do
