Carrie and Tom are really going through it and will need support to get through this! While the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics are world-class, I've got to say, having to use their services means you're probably going through something pretty tough. Beyond medical bills, there will be so many additional costs. Gas, food for Carrie while she's there, takeout for home because she won't be there to always cook, hotel stays, all of the caffeine to be awake and alert to soak up everything she'll need to remember, and more. Having been admitted for a kiddo, I can tell you, I felt every dollar anyone shared with us in support.
