On April 6th 2021, a devastating fire tore through a Jackson Heights apartment building, leaving its many tenants injured and displaced. Kevin Carrasco, a high school senior along with his family of 6, were among the displaced.
Fortunately, the Carrasco family found shelter with a family friend, where they have been staying since the fire. However, their home and all of the belongings in it have been completely lost, and they are left with only the few items they were able to evacuate with.
Please join us in helping this student and his family get back on their feet. All funds raised, including any amount exceeding the goal, will go directly to the family to support them in purchasing clothing, food, and other necessities, and help them to secure stable housing.
On behalf of the Carrascos, thank you in advance for your support and generosity,
