You can make a difference by donating today to The Carpenters' Company. To commemorate the final day of the First Continental Congress, which convened in Carpenters' Hall from September 5th to October 26th, 1774, our goal is to raise $17,774 in a single day! Can you help us reach this goal?
Thanks to a generous anonymous Board member, we are happy to announce that should we reach this goal, the amount will be matched! Let's reach this goal together!
A National Historic Landmark, Carpenters' Hall was built in 1770 and hosted the First Continental Congress in 1774, one of the most significant events in the founding of our nation. We are located in Independence National Historical Park, but the building is privately owned and maintained by the nonprofit Carpenters' Company, which was founded in 1724 and is the nation's oldest continuously operating trade guild. Carpenters' Hall receives around 120,000 visitors annually.
