On March 5th 2021 Friday morning, Kimberly Kees was driving to work at the Salton Sea. A 2 1/2 hour commute one way to work as she has for the last six months. The shift just switched over to mornings from nights when Kees was involved in a terrible and total car accident. Kees is in intensive care with a spinal injury, fractured ribs, and fractured neck. She has bravely endured 3 surgeries in 72 hours to stabilize her back and neck. She is the provider of her household to an amazingly supportive partner, a mother,and caretaker of her grandparents. Kees is a fierce Sister Carpenter. True to her family and her craftspeople, and trade.
