Bachelor’s Degree

Hello, my name is Ayana Boudreaux, and I am a senior at Howard University. For those of you who are unfamiliar with my story, this chapter is referred to as "Complete!" To get to this point, I had to fight for twelve years. I enrolled at Howard in 2010 as a freshman; I was on cloud nine. After all, I had finally enrolled in my dream school. However, my happiness was short-lived when I discovered that I was having trouble covering my tuition during the second semester. I was dejected, crushed, and grieving when I arrived home. But I was determined to see it through, so I saved up and returned to Howard in 2012, only to find myself in the same financial situation a year and a half later.

Once again heartbroken but fueled by a burning determination, I gathered money, paid them off, and returned in the Fall of 2021. I am currently in my final semester and am once again having financial problems. I was advised that I had used up all of my undergraduate assistance allotment and that the proportion of my pell grant was also getting close to the limit.

I've already gotten some financial assistance to pay for my tuition via a personal loan, a private student loan, and kind gifts, but now I need your assistance. This last fee must be paid in order for me to acquire my diploma. And in case you're wondering, no, I'm not a horrible student; my current GPA is 3.69, but these are the lemons life has given me.
