Life is not easy in one of Lagos' largest slums. The water village of Makoko, is home to nearly 200,000+ locals and 80% of those inhabitants are out-of-school children. This slum in full view, sits beneath the road I take to work daily...the Third Mainland Bridge.
Being Born in Africa and having lived here all my life, I felt it was time to do something for my country. Ironically, this September I will be climbing the highest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kiliminjaro.
To incentivize my climb, I have decided to raise funds for this charity close to my heart, Slums 2 Schools .
For every hundred pounds you donate, one child will be ensured a full year of education. Let's make their dreams a reality.
With your support we can help them start their futures, so they too can stay above the bridge.
