Hi friends and family, 
As some of you know, I was in a horrific car accident a year ago. What most of you don't know is that my friends started a GoFundMe page for me to get me through it financially. It was a God send and I can't be more grateful for their/your support! Hence why I feel the need to do the same for my very first Nephew, John and his beautiful family.
Some of you are already aware of our John's situation. For those of you who are not I would like to share with you. John found out approximately 2 years ago, while having an eye exam, that he was deep into chronic, stage V kidney disease and all due to high blood pressure that went too long unchecked and therefore, undiagnosed. As he began his journey of seeing Dr.s for this condition he was further diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Obviously, the cancer had to be treated first and it was. He just finished Chemo and is getting an MRI and CT scan in the coming weeks to determine if the cancer has been fully mitigated, however, he and his family have a LONG way to go in battling the kidney disease.
He has been put on the list for a kidney transplant even though his mother and his brother Steve are matches. The more the merrier for sure. However, due to the cancer and the treatment for that, he will have to wait for at least 5 years of being in remission before moving forward on the kidney transplant.
John has not been able to work his full time job and therefore is and has been on disability. We all know that disability is not something a family can sustain on for long. As you can imagine, this has put a huge financial as well as an emotional strain on his family. Of course we all know that Andrea is amazing but even superheros need other superheros. That is why we are reaching out to you!
