Hello all,

This is Carolyn's son Charlie and I am here to share with you all that on June 25th, 2021 my mom Carolyn was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer of the Liver. It was nearly 4 years to the date she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2017. The new diagnosis drastically changed her world in a rapid fashion. She has since retired from her passion of doing daycare out of her home to focus on the battle ahead. In the writing of the initial post, Carolyn has had two blood transfusions, a PET Scan (which revealed cancerous masses on one hip and a spot on her ribs), Liver Biopsy, and Chemotherapy twice.

In a matter of days and several trips to different doctors, my mom's whole life has changed. The purpose and the goal of this fundraising is to first and foremost is to join in prayer; praying for Carolyn and for God to heal her. Her faith has been what has carried her through this unimaginable battle, and she wants to give Him all the praise. My dad, Steve, is her rock and has been by her side since they began dating in high school in the early 1980's. He continues to work to help but it is far too great for one person to accomplish alone.

With the support of her incredible family near and far, Carolyn remains as strong as she has ever been. The road ahead is a battle but she is not one to give up nor go down without a fight. Any support would mean the world not only to Carolyn and Steve but to her whole family.
